Cota is also known as: Indian tea, Hopi Tea, Navajo Tea, Zuni Tea, Colorado Greenthread to name a few. Our Cota is wild crafted from Northern New Mexico and is used to relieve stomachaches and other digestive ailments. It is also used to reduce fevers, to treat kidney problems, to “purify the blood”. One of the main active ingredients in Cota is known as luteolin.

Brewing Instructions:                                                                                                                                                 Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1.5 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 5-7 minutes.
